The Dead Zone Incident refers to the happening of inappropriate advertising in the Superstar Discord server on January 9th, 2025; along with its following backlash from various Beatstar Mods community members.

Discovery

The head administrator of the Superstar server, Cr1992, posted the inappropriate advertisement at 2:38pm PDT in the #invite-links channel. Less than 20 minutes later, Trashfire posted a screenshot of this accouncement in the Beatstar Mods server #general channel.

This caught the eye of many members, including (but not limited to) Ray, Tut, SkySapphire, Glekk and Weh. Everyone who saw the initial message was mortified by what they saw, not knowing that the contents of the server itself was much worse than originally anticipated. Ray made the first move by deciding to confront Cr1992 in the Superstar server, and what unfolded afterwards was around 2.5 hours of chaos.

Confrontation

Ray posted a message tagging Cr1992 saying the following: "@Cr1992 hey so why are you promoting a goddamn 🌽 server in a gaming server? there could be literal children here" This was followed up by one of the moderators, ThatJoshJosh, trying to justify the advertisement's presence by claiming that the server had age verification measures in place.

Tut, Weh, and SkySapphire joined in the confrontation, explaining the irony of a server administrator breaking their own rules. They also emphasized the point that there could (and likely) be minors in the Superstar server that could see the inappropriate server invite and be subject to harm.

Discovery of Pedophilia

Trashfire decided to test the age verification theory by joining the Dead Zone server (not with serious intention, of course), only to find that the measures in place were very weak and practically non-existent. All it took was reacting to a specific message to bypass age verification.

Not only this, but Trashfire also discovered that there were minors in the server that were unafraid of admitting they were underage. The head administrator and owner of the server, EMPEROR Geoff, was actively encouraging these children to continue engaging in the server.

Trashfire claims that it took him "less than two seconds" to stumble upon the server's inappropriate sexual content, with little to no barriers in place to stop minors from viewing the explicit content. Not only this, but he later discovered that EMPEROR Geoff was actively trying to encourage children to engage in sexual roleplay fantasies with him over DM.

Finally, it was also discovered that Feetguy1283 was a member of the Dead Zone server, in which Trashfire understandably took screenshots as documentation.

Presentation of Evidence

While Trashfire had been investigating the Dead Zone server, the confrontation had begun to escalate. It only escalated more once Trashfire posted a screenshot of EMPEROR Geoff defending the presence of a minor in the server, in which Feetguy1283 admitted to being friends with Geoff.

This led to Feetguy1283 attempting to defend Geoff unsuccessfully, and even threatening to kick those who spoke back in retaliation. Ray, despite the warning, spoke up once again, resulting in his kick. (Pictured below is his last message before getting kicked.)

The situation continued to escalate until Cr1992 finally stepped in, apologizing about the whole ordeal and taking the post down. At this point, Ray had found another invite link and rejoined the server, in which Feetguy1283 atttempted to apologize for kicking him. But since the discovery that he'd been affiliated with pedophiliac behavior and people, nobody accepted his apology and continued to berate him for the remainder of the confrontation.

Further Discovery of Pedophilia

Some time later, Cr1992 posted a gallery of screenshots talking with Geoff about an advertisement swap. It was revealed here that Cr1992 had been a part of the server briefly, and his claims of "not knowing the content/nature of the server" became null.

It was at this point that the whole ordeal was catching the attention of other Superstar server members, even ones who were not a part of the Beatstar Mods server, such as imbest25. These members joined in the confrontation towards Cr1992 and Feetguy1283.

Aftermath

The whole ordeal lasted around 2 and 1/2 hours. It is still partially ongoing at this moment.

  • Cr1992 took down the advertisement.
  • Feetguy1283 was demoted from his position as moderator.
  • Trashfire reported the Dead Zone server to Discord.
  • The integrity and trustworthiness of the Superstar moderation team has become tarnished.
