Lando

This article talks about someone who was previously a member of the Beatstar Mods community, but isn't anymore. This does not include members who have been banned, but rather ones who have left or exited in some other way. These members, including Lando, might be missed.

This article is about a person who is considered to be "not very bright" among the Beatstar Mods community. Despite this, please be respectful, do not vandalize this article and do not be mean to Lando if you encounter them.

Lando is a former member of the Beatstar Mods Discord server, who was known within the server for his broken English, miscommunications, getting angry at people because he assumed they were attacking him, and lying about being from Staines-upon-Thames.

Lando's first few days in the server

After joining the server, Lando first became known for repeatedly talking about the removed Beatstar song Kiesza - Hideaway, constantly talking about how much he loved the song, saying he thought it would be re-added to Beatstar, and asking Charters in the server to chart it. This odd behaviour drew attention to him within the community, and led to Trashfire warning him to stop pinging charters asking about it.

Staines-upon-Thames

It soon became clear that English was not Lando's first language, as he would often speak in broken English, use unusual/incorrect words for the context, and misunderstand people. He spoke Russian in the server sometimes, so server members assumed he was Russian. However, Lando insisted throughout his time in the server that he was not Russian, that he was from the UK and had lived there his whole life, with English being his first language.

The fact that this was clearly a lie led to server members questioning him on where exactly he was from, and he ended up claiming to be from Staines-upon-Thames. This led to Staines-upon-Thames becoming a running joke within the server, with people joking about going to Staines-upon-Thames to meet Lando, or to have a server meetup there. To this day it is unknown why Lando decided to lie about his country or language, especially considering the Beatstar Mods server has a large Russian community already.

"My phone was broken"

At some point, Lando left the server unexpectedly, only to return later on. When people commented on his return and asked him why he left, he said that he hadn't left the server, but that his phone had broken, and now it was fixed. Despite Lando's explanation, the server logs clearly showed him leaving and rejoining the server.

Miscommunication incidents

Lando, likely due to his poor understanding of English, tended to assume that people were attacking him and get angry at them over completely normal messages. One example of this is when he shared a list of song suggestions and asked people to rate his concept, and Ayra replied saying that encores were one of the Beatstar developers' shittiest concepts. This led to Lando assuming that Ayra was calling his concept shit and becoming confrontational, also arguing back against Trashfire.

Leaving the server, and subsequent Discord ban/account deletion

Eventually, Lando left the server due to unknown reasons. Sometime after that, server members noticed that his account was showing as Deleted User. It is unknown whether he deleted his account himself, or was banned by Discord staff.
